SUMMARY:Fascism\, Resistance and Memory in the 21st Century – Italian studies from a historical international perspective
DESCRIPTION:A century after the March on Rome in 1922\, a new space has been opened for historians to reflect on and rethink the categories of Fascism and Resistance. Through the analysis of politics of memory\, institutions\, lieux de mémoire and celebrations\, the history of Italy\, between Fascism and the Republic\, enters into dialogue\, with a comparative gaze\, with the international context. Our initiative aims\, through the exploration of the use of history in the public sphere\, to critically analyze these today’s memorial spaces. \nThis international workshop is organized by the Students of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree “History in the Public Sphere”\, with the support of the Universities of the Consortium and in partnership with the Istituto Nazionale Ferruccio Parri.

SUMMARY:25 luglio 1943. Un problema di diritto statutario o di diritto costituzionale?
DESCRIPTION:Il 25 luglio 1943 rappresenta una data fondamentale non soltanto nella vicenda politico-istituzionale dell’Italia unita\, ma anche nella sua storia costituzionale\, quale momento di rottura del sistema della forma di Governo dello Stato fascista e di ritorno allo Statuto\, forse\, fuori tempo massimo. Un’indagine a tutto campo su questo snodo fondamentale si rende utile per comprendere sia alcuni aspetti particolarmente salienti dell’ordinamento statutario\, nella sua versione originaria\, che avrebbe conosciuto una reviviscenza proprio il 25 luglio\, e nella sua declinazione fascistizzata\, che\, riuscì a offrire alla monarchia gli strumenti per liquidare Mussolini; sia le radici profonde dell’ordinamento repubblicano\, che si sarebbe realizzato a partire da una complessa transizione avviatasi la notte della seduta del Gran consiglio.
