SUMMARY:L’eredità materiale del Ventennio fascista: i casi del Trentino e dell’Alto Adige
DESCRIPTION:Il seminario affronta il tema dell’eredità materiale del Ventennio fascista nel territorio trentino e in Alto Adige. Verranno analizzate e discusse le ragioni che hanno determinato la sopravvivenza\, il riuso o l’abbandono del lascito fascista in età repubblicana\, stimolando una riflessione critica sulla memoria locale nel secondo dopoguerra e riconoscendo tanto le specificità quanto le differenze tra il caso trentino\, quello altoatesino e il contesto nazionale. Il seminario rientra tra le iniziative del progetto Caritro “Per una storia dell’eredità materiale del Ventennio fascista: il caso trentino”\, promosso da FBK-ISIG in collaborazione con il Dipartimento di Sociologia e Ricerca Sociale e il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile\, Ambientale e Meccanica dell’Università di Trento\, la Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino e la Soprintendenza per i Beni e le Attività Culturali di Trento.

SUMMARY:Making Stones Speak. New Narratives about Europe and the Sites of Dictatorship
DESCRIPTION:Il convegno è  finanziato nell’ambito del programma DFG/Villa Vigoni – Cooperazione italo-tedesca nel campo delle scienze umane e sociali .  \nAbstract \nThe use and abuse of sites of former dictatorships in Europe raises many questions that define our relationship with the past. What do the sites of twentieth-century dictatorships tell us today? How can the historical analysis of the public and urban remnants of Fascism and Nazism contribute to new narratives of Europe? The conference will address these questions by a German-Italian discussion forum composed of historians from different generations and with different disciplinary expertise.
