This two‑day regional workshop explores how contemporary crises reshape Europe’s remembrance practices and narratives from World War II to today. Through historical and anthropological lens, it examines memorial practices and the treatment of material memory objects and sites in the contexts of the T4EU Alliance. The programme investigates how narratives of Nazi-fascism, collaborationism, wars, and forced migrations are being reframed in light of current conflicts and politics. The workshop will be enriched by the presence of regional GLAM+ and it aims at question how these tensions challenge established collective memory policies and the role of formal and informal heritages in Europe.
