Elisa Tizzoni, Dottore di ricerca in Storia contemporanea presso l’Università di Pisa (2011), è attualmente assegnista di ricerca presso il Dipartimento di Civiltà e Forme del Sapere dell’Università di Pisa e cultrice della materia presso l’Università di Genova. È stata assegnista di ricerca presso l’Università di Genova, l’Istituto per il lessico intellettuale europeo e storia delle idee del Cnr, la Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa e ha svolto borse di ricerca e attività didattica presso le Università di Pisa, Firenze, Padova, Innsbruck, Salisburgo, il Leibniz Institute of European History (IEG) di Magonza, lo European University Institute (EUI) di Firenze e presso altre istituzioni culturali.
I suoi interessi di ricerca riguardano prevalentemente la storia delle politiche turistiche, la storia ambientale, la storia dell’integrazione europea.
Dr. Elisa Tizzoni (PhD in Contemporary History, University of Pisa 2011) is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Civilizations and Forms of Knowledge at the Pisa University and cultore della materia (volunteer teaching assistant) at the University of Genoa. She has been a research fellow at the University of Innsbruck, the European University Institute in Florence, the Leibniz Institute of European History (IEG) in Mainz, and visiting lecturer at the University of Salzburg. She has also worked as a researcher and as an adjunct professor at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, the National Research Council of Italy, the Universities of Genoa, Firenze, Padova and other cultural institutions.
Her main research interests include the political history of tourism, the environmental history and the history of the European integration process.
