BIOGRAFIA

Bianca Gaudenzi è attualmente Ricercatrice DFG in storia contemporanea all’Istituto Storico Germanico di Roma nell’ambito del suo progetto “La restituzione del patrimonio culturale in Italia, Austria e nella Repubblica Federale di Germania, 1945-1998”, finanziato dalla DFG (Eigene Stelle), nonché ricercatrice presso lo Zukunftskolleg, Università di Costanza e il Wolfson College, Università di Cambridge. Dopo gli studi all’Università di Firenze e alla Humboldt di Berlino si è addottorata all’Università di Cambridge (Trinity Hall) nel 2011 con una tesi sulla storia della cultura dei consumi in Germania e in Italia tra il 1918 e il 1945. Ha in seguito ricoperto l’incarico di Junior Research Fellow al Newnham College (2011-2014), seguito da una Marie Curie Fellowship all’Università di Costanza (2015-2017). Durante il dottorato è stata Royal Historical Society Centenary Fellow all’Institute for Historical Research di Londra e JWT Fellow alla Duke University (North Carolina). Ha insegnato e seguito tesi (triennale e master) in storia dell’europa contemporanea all’Università di Cambridge (da AA 2011/2012),  all’Università di Costanza (da AA 2014/2015) e all’Università di East Anglia (Norwich, AA 2012/2013).
